Usually when I draw, I sit at my desk (often stoned as a goose) and watch old movies or play old records. When I'm not doing that, you can find me in some online wormhole, unlocking forgotten chunks of my childhood. The things that form us do so very early in life. \n\nWhile “researching” for this piece, I found out that a lot of my fascination and obsession over character design comes from 90s toys. \n\nI love drawing my colorful demons more than anything and I'm pretty sure it's because of the Tamagotchis that perished in my care, the mushrooms my brother squashed playing Mario, and the terrifying blank gaze we’ve all felt from every Furby. \n\nThat’s why I made this piece—a place for a lot of these forgotten friends, gadgets, and beautiful misfits to live together in harmony, with a new coat of neon paint. Old favorites taken out of their attic boxes. Let’s celebrate the wonderful things that made us crazy collectors. \n\nXO  \nNick, Young & Sick","attributes":[{"trait_type":"Artist","value":"YOUNG & SICK"}],"image_details":{"bytes":9948319,"format":"PNG","sha256":"e3d2598ed84a7a2f6561a750e9f16919ac8d3bcbeff9fa53b5ac9d5c33ff3437","width":8000,"height":8000},"image":"https://arweave.net/jXYHD3zX-OvRDjU1z-_zHH9bcC3YMlw-yUD_rEkFZRA","image_url":"https://arweave.net/jXYHD3zX-OvRDjU1z-_zHH9bcC3YMlw-yUD_rEkFZRA"}
